Austin Edwards from The Padel State wrote about the schedules, teams ahead of the America’s Cup in Puerto Escondido.
Edwards grew up in Colorado as a competitive tennis player. Once he got to college he fell in love with squash. Around 2012, he was living in New Orleans and had access to three squash courts that he played on almost every day. After hearing about Padel from a squash friend, he then got invited and played in a tournament in Philadelphia after watching it on Youtube to understand what it was all about. Then he went to San Diego to play. Then Florida. And now he’s “hopelessly addicted.”
